“사도들을 가운데 세우고 묻되 너희가 무슨 권세와 누구의 이름으로 이 일을 행하였느냐” (행 4:7)
“다른 이로써는 구원을 받을 수 없나니 천하 사람 중에 구원을 받을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이라 하였더라” (행 4:12)

주님! 제 생각이 먼저 앞섰던 것을 용서받기 원합니다

내가 오직 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름을 의지하게 하시옵고, 이 세상에서 권력을 쥐고 있는 사람들을 두려워하지 않게 하옵소서!

These leaders were very disturbed that they've preached people

They arrested tham and put in the jail

But many of the people who heard message believe Jesus,

So the number of believers now totaled about 5,000 men

The leader of council brought in the two disciples and demanded

"by the power, or in whose name, have you done this?"

Then Peter said. Let me clearly state to all of you.

he was healed by the name of Jesus, the man you crucified but whom God raised from dead

For Jesus is the one refered to in the Scriptures,

"The stone that you builder rejected has now become the cornerstone"

There is salvation in no one else!

God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved

The members were amazed when they saw the boldness of peter and John

for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures

They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus

So the council threatened them further, but they finally let them go

For everyone was praising God
